Fine, I'll do it (by) myself
Looking back I think I enjoy most things by myself rather than with company, the best example is going to the cinema, I mean, even with company you normally don't talk a lot during the movie, so the company can be enjoyed only after that.
The most recent example of enjoying things by myself was going to a music festival *alone*, the idea was to go with a friend but we ended up in hotels way too apart and we already planned to see different artists with overlapping schedules so we never saw each other during the festival. And you know what? it felt amazing. I was able to see the artists I enjoy and leave when I felt done.

NATMOS:R A7| LQ’s account of the end
Ok, so this is the end for side A, again I dont know what to do. I am also listening to LIGHT AND DARKNESS, so I might do a story on that later on. I might be making more videos too on WeVidi. So stay tuned, but for right now here is a question:
What is the stupidest argument you ever had with a friend.

The Secret of Happiness
You need to get some silicone earplugs. Foam earplugs are not good enough.
While you are at the drug store buying silicone earplugs, you should also buy yourself a pill case. Choose a pill case that is sturdy enough to survive life in your pocket and also the right size to hold a single pair of earplugs.
Put a pair of earplugs in your pill case. Put the pill case in your pocket.
Imagine a public space that you normally find

Proprietary Services and Hypocrisy
I have recently had to get back on two of the worst proprietary network services (Facebook and Discord... Gross...) to coordinate IRL activities I care a great deal about. I also feel like a total hypocrite about it since I've been a huge free software advocate for a long time. I even lost friends dramatically leaving Facebook and Discord in 2019/2020.

Website down...
So, I was *going* to write about how I've been reading through old FIDONET News zines[0] and enjoying the look into the past, but I got a notification from a script about my site getting a huge uptick in traffic. Figuring it was the AI bots cycling around, I opened up SSH, checked the nginx logs, and... No. It wasn't the scrapers.
Something stirred the hornet nest, because my VPS was getting slammed by a buch of security scanners and bots for credential theft (AWS, github, gitlab, etc.). I didn't have time to sift through everything, so I just shut off nginx to give me time to make a game plan. My site isn't vital for business or anything, but it hurts having to take it down like this.
I didn't ask for any of the scans I was seeing, and the malicious bots were definitely not requested. At least for the security scanners, they seem to be from legit sources, but like hell I'm going to say I wanted it when I didn't ask for it.

overthinking POSSE
I've been overthinking POSSE (Publish n Own Site, Syndicate Everywhere) for a while now, and I think I'll go on doing it right now, thanks.
[...]
tl;dr Syndicate your stuff to other small-web sites, like Bear, Mataroa, write.as, Dreamwidth, and so on.
I'm torn between two positions here:
1. Sometimes I write stuff I think is halfway decent, or that I stand behind, or that I think is important to say when I say it. Stuff I think is sufficiently important to deserve to be in front of larger audiences.
(1.5 I am incredibly lazy and have ADHD and am usually done with a thing when I've written it, hence why I don't pitch more of this stuff to major outlets.)
(1.75 Also have you ever dealt with a major outlet? It's work. I don't blog to do work; I blog outside of work, on purpose.)
2. BUT: Do I just think my work needs a larger audience because I am vain about it? Like any mother, do I only think my kids are beautiful and talented because they are mine? Is my interest in publishing to a "wider audience" based in nothing more than my own personal vanity?
Which leads me to:
