Mozilla Firefox Already Down to 1% in Brazil
Don't people crave the surveillance and the slop?
In quite a few countries, even very large countries, Mozilla Firefox is already negligible (in terms of its userbase) and being ignored by site operators. Enter Brazil. In spite of its good adoption of GNU/Linux (typically comes with Firefox preloaded) at the end of last year Chrome was measured at 85% there and Firefox is measured at only 1% - less than half what Opera has.
Mozilla's rapid demise is due to self-inflicted wounds (examples from this week). It hired executives and board members from Facebook and Microsoft. That's why it looks so bad. █
