Richard Stallman Turns 72 and Will Be Giving Talks in Europe Soon

While the media (more so this month) is getting mesmerised by Microsoft memories and money there are many layoffs and shutdowns at Microsoft. Maybe Microsoft "takes out the trash" while nobody pays much attention.

We too lost our attention.

Exactly 4 weeks ago Richard Stallman had his birthday, as this new timeline serves to remind us this morning:

He will be back to Europe to give more talks soon. To quote his homepage: "My second visit to Europe will be after February. If you are interested in inviting me to speak there, and you have a venue to use and a public to invite, please email me soon with "speaking invitation" in the Subject field, using the name rms and the host gnu dot org. One advantage of this period for you is that the intercontinental flights are already covered, so you won't need to pay for that."

Some time soon we may make an index of his recent talks (2024-2025), seeing that this page is badly out of date. We have many local copies of his talks as WebM, having converted files uploaded to YouTube. █
