Yesterday we saw a new press release from the Linux Foundation [1], saying that "Panasonic Automotive Systems Joins the Linux Foundation as a Gold Member", so we've just checked the Board of Directors page. Not only does it show that another Microsoft employee was added to the Board but there's a new "Panasonic - Gold Director":

Panasonic Automotive Systems Joins the Linux Foundation as a Gold Member [Ed: Buying a board seat?]
The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization enabling mass innovation through open source, welcomes Panasonic Automotive Systems Co., Ltd (PAS) as a Gold Member of the foundation.
