Doing Microsoft's Job. On IBM's Payroll.
Imagine Greenpeace promoting British Gas.
Imagine the late Pope promoting ISIS.
What would the public say if PETA raised money by camel rides?
Or if the creator of Git promoted/endorsed a GPL violations blender [1, 2] that seeks to replace Git?
Well, today's Red Hat cannot recognise threats even after a head-on collision.
There are rumours about Red Hat redundancies during Easter (they don't use that sort of language though). As somebody put it some hours ago: "You have hit the nail on the head. IBM has firm data that shows 85-90% of the employees asked to move will not. HR and the CFO love that statistic as it makes lowering “costs” quite easy. Remember job 1 = lower costs as labor is viewed within management as a commodity."
Does Red Hat hire? Yes. To promote Microsoft's proprietary spyware and GPL violations. █
