We're Working to Make Full-Site Search Available

frightening tales to tell when the sun is about to go down

Back in February I reminded readers that I had written about Free software for many years. About 20 years ago I was sometimes even paid to do so (Datamation), albeit editors would then censor some paragraphs, change my headlines etc. I was basically "bossed" and lacked freedom of expression. Those were the conditions.

Two weeks from now this site turns 18.5 and then I'll wrap up some documents for the trial [1, 2] against someone who has harassed me for well over a decade (he had also harassed many other people). The High Court will compel him to explain his disgusting behaviour and he'll be left with a bill almost $500,000 in total.

Techrights is a long-term journey, not an adventure. Some times soon we hope to finally unveil full-site search. The main challenge at the moment is finding a reliable way to keep bots (not just LLM scrapers) out of it.

This site has over 1,000 'wiki' pages, many thousands of documents, several thousands of videos, and about 50,000 blog posts or articles. We need to make them easier to find/navigate.
