China is Already Culling GAFAM (Not Just Microsoft Windows)

Toyota picks Huawei’s Android-killer HarmonyOS for its Chinese electric sedan

IT is probably safe to expect GNU/Linux to rise in China because Chinese OEMs 'promote' it with discounts and Windows licensing comes to an end, based on recent press reports (predating the tariff war). The curious thing is, as shown above, even Android is increasingly evaded. Even in Japan, not an ally of China. The article in question says "the operating system Huawei created to break its dependence on Android." Apparently it's not Linux-based.

Either way, OS monoculture or "OS hegemony" may be coming to an end. Is PooOS next? (Pooh the bear)
