statCounter Says Only One in 6 Web-Connected Clients in Hungary Are Using Windows, iOS Almost Bigger Than Windows Now
2024: Microsoft Seems to be Having Trouble in Hungary

Hungary is a cautionary tale in the world of European (or Russian) politics. But it's also a "canary" of sorts to Microsoft the back doors giant.
iOS got bigger than Windows in Ireland and in many other European countries. It's weird to think that in some sense - or in some places at least - Apple is already a more powerful "OS player" than Microsoft. What's curious in Hungary is this month's data, resembling what we briefly saw last year in late summer:
It is like this (as shown above) not only in Hungary. Other parts of Europe show a run away from Microsoft [1, 2] (and Microsoft's President seems alarmed by it; enough to make statements and lots of noise in the media last week).
Windows is descending sharply and it's rapidly down in the capital of Europe this year. It's like they saw the face of "Donald Trump" (Cheeto Mussolini) and generally "got the message".
Not on my watch! Not on my systems! █
