Time to reflect?
The above phenomenon was described in 2 articles before [1, 2]. While IBM's CEO meets and greets "politicians" who literally butcher and cook journalists (after crushing their bones so that they fit in a tandoori oven) there seems to be an effort to suppress insiders' discussion about the "king" (election? What election? Who does elections anyway?). Remember this is the company that controls Red Hat, which pretends the real issue is people using technical terms like "master" and "whitelist" (apparently shaking hands with nazis isn't as bad as calling your git repository's main branch "master").
IBM - and by extension Red Hat - is going in a bad direction. "I think it cannot be overemphasized that IBM was making money hand over fist back when it was actually investing in Linux and not divesting / attacking it," an associate recalls. "That is the price they pay for letting card carrying Microsofters onto the payroll, or into the building for any reason."
As recently as days ago redhat.com was selling Microsoft... for the second time in a week, as we first saw at the start of the week. They keep selling Azure (Microsoft) instead of IBM. The Red Hat news section and blog are Microsoft resellers.
Responsible companies focus on real values and tolerance. They don't take a plane to Riyadh. █
