The Microsofter Who Kept Sending Threatening Post and E-mail to My Wife Has Been Joking He'd Work on Code for "Sexual Favours"
For one thing, for software professionals (like for landlords), this is outright illegal and you'd get arrested for it, and moreover it's no joking matter because there are many real victims of such sexual exploitation
The above screenshot is from Matthew J. Garrett's official homepage, showing his grotesque disposition and/or crude 'humour' even more than 2 decades ago (when he said he was also transphobic - a trait which often accompanies sexism and homophobia, as covered in prior days).
So he's picking on women, scaring women, and speaking of them like objects for sexual gratification. Then he sends threats to my wife. Then he sends her a lawsuit while intentionally using a name she has not used since 2012 (we got married that year). In IRC, Matthew J. Garrett even speaks of looking for sex in public events about FOSS (Free/Open Source software) - we'll get to that next week.
Well, yesterday and two days ago we showed a pattern of threats. The Microsofters sent threats to my webhosts (even female webhosts got targeted!), to my family (including several times to my wife!). Also see what we published three days ago and four days ago. Who would put up with such behaviour? Last summer we sued him [1, 2] and shortly after that he brought an old GNOME and Microsoft (Mono) ally to SLAPP us [1, 2] because, as we noted five days ago, Microsoft has long attempted - but always failed - to censor us (suppressing facts, which merely embarrass them and jeopardise their income level).
It's extra ridiculous that two Microsoft people - one of them arrested for strangling women - file lawsuits here in the UK while they're based in another continent [1, 2] and do so while leveraging a poor firm that engages in abusive litigation for any bad person that comes along [1, 2] with Microsoft money at hand. They're going to pay for this proportionately because bad actors should never even taste any "success". We need more light, not more darkness or silence. We must also eliminate Microsoft's control or coercive leverage over courts [1, 2]. █
