Mass Layoffs at Microsoft Result in More Whistleblowers From Microsoft
Microsoft's predatory pricing is further confirmed by this new report (price can double or even quadruple over time, once your systems and data are locked in - a common theme in antitrust complaints about Azure)
Later today we'll publish a long article about the Microsoft SLAPPs. Part of that article says: "It's not hard to see what's happening here; after the arrest it was becoming clearer that Team Mono was losing its place in GitHub. They then sent many threats to me, mostly because they're afraid of what we know, what we casually talk about, and our access to valuable whistleblowers, whom we always protected (we have a 100% source protection record and 100% resistance to takedowns/censorship)."
We too have access to Microsoft whistleblowers, but we seldom mention what information (that we publish) came from whistleblowers. Over a year ago Business Insider had already secured trust from several high-level Microsoft whistleblowers/leakers. It paid off. They keep leaking out information about mass layoffs, even months before those layoffs happen (and are then lied about).
From what we've heard, morale in Microsoft is absolutely terrible! People who still work at Microsoft lose colleagues (sacked or "moving on"), their managers get abruptly sacked (it's not clear who instructs/asks them what to do anymore), and workload gets scattered among fewer people, who cannot even catch enough sleeping hours. Yes, Microsoft doesn't typically pay overtime, it just tells people to be thankful they still have a job, expecting them to work all day long (sometimes nights, too).
Microsoft will have many whistleblowers because the workplace stinks, there's no loyalty to Microsoft, and these comments are a giveaway. There's a common perception inside the company that it has no future and it's time to move on.
Hours ago we wrote about more Microsoft layoffs, as reported hours ago by a lot of media (there has been more since). Today there's also this report that "Xbox Puts Handheld Console On Hold" because XBox is losing money and dying (buying Activision was meant to obscure the sharp drop in revenue) and there is no need for this vapourware anymore. It's just hopeless. █
