Signing Off Serious Lies With a Statement of Truth is No Joking Matter

posted by Roy Schestowitz on May 30, 2025

3 days ago: UK High Court Masters Are Not Your Jesters, Microsoft

Judge Sykes Frixou SLAPP

3 (three) lies: 1) there was no blog post, it's "social media" (some call it "microblogging"); 2) Twitter did not link to that other site as insinuated above; 3) nothing got removed (they try to wrongly imply an effort to comply with ridiculous demands)

The distortion above is just one notable example (there are more) of lies from the man we sued last summer [1, 2]. It's from his Defence.

In IRC he spoke of "missing out" for not pursuing sex in public FOSS conferences (full context there, as covered in the last part) and I already responded to the 2021 letters that he sent me around the time there was a GitHub catastrophe implicating Balabhadra (Alex) Graveley, Miguel de Icaza, and Graveley's "best friend", back then GitHub's CEO, who basically lost his job (probably in relation to our exclusive publications that month). Graveley has since then joined forces with Garrett, as Garrett's SLAPP backfired very badly (they're all unified on many levels and what they did contributes abusive litigation, including repeated extortion attempts funded by Microsoft salaries).

It's not hard to see what's happening here; after the arrest it was becoming clearer that Team Mono was losing its place in GitHub. They then sent many threats to me, mostly because they're afraid of what we know, what we casually talk about, and our access to valuable whistleblowers, whom we always protected (we have a 100% source protection record and 100% resistance to takedowns/censorship).

"None of the publications mentioned were ever removed (even temporarily), contrary to the false claims made with a Statement of Truth, e.g. this tweet," the abusive and poor law firm got told this month. It's still online right now, as it always was:

This is about Matthew GAFAM #mjg who boasts about going to FOSS conferences to find sex

Lying with a Statement of Truth has serious legal ramifications in the UK. They basically write down lies and send those lies to judges (Masters). Contempt of court aside, one can be sentenced to prison for it. Garrett's spouse is already in a de facto prison (involuntarily put in a facility), Garrett's litigation buddy got arrested, so is he next in line? He keeps talking about getting arrested (about 10+ in the past year alone) or fearing an arrest.

“LITIGANTS SHOULD BE TERRIFIED IF THEY LIE TO THE COURT”: THE IMPORTANCE OF THE STATEMENT OF TRUTH

The above example is just one of several and it's exceptionally blatant as there are many falsehoods in open form and in this one single paragraph, constructed to present events in a fictional way. There are serious consequences when making empty threats, as happened back in 2021. They very well know this. The lawyers know this. Graveley's and Garrett's lawyer seems to be leaving the firm now (a shrinking firm with little business and almost no money left in the bank), as they urgently look for a replacement. They advertise this.

It's hardly surprising that Garrett chose a pathological liar as his litigation partner. In his communications with women (as shared here before) - including those that he dated and then told to kill themselves - he openly boasted that he had been lying to them (including, among other things, his personal wealth; with about 20k dollars in the bank, according to the arrest documents, he told women he had 200 million dollars). Miguel de Icaza, whom RMS called a "traitor", used to boast that he was very rich; well, working for Microsoft as a mole inside the Free Software movement paid off. He enriched himself and now he tries using his wealth for other purposes. You can run, but you cannot hide. We're not as dumb as you need us to be. We'll hold accountable all the parties that did this even if it takes several years.

oh good lord, New York? Thanks for the evidence that I've been part of the conspiracy for 20 years

Balabhadra (Alex) Graveley, Miguel de Icaza
