statCounter: GNU/Linux Up to 4.7% "Market Share" This Month
As we've only just mentioned, statCounter has new figures for June and so far it looks like a Windows "BLOODBATH":
If Windows perishes, so will software that strictly depends on it. GNU/Linux is now measured at 4.7%.
Adding Android to the mix, Windows may be about to fall below 20%, i.e. less than 1 in 5 Web-connected devices. Notice iOS there:
This must be ringing alarm bells at Redmond, where Microsoft has just laid off about 2,000 workers (in Redmond alone!) with many more to come this month or in July (or August), based on insiders. It's not only a Windows "BLOODBATH" but also a Microsoft "BLOODBATH", as 30,000 Microsoft jobs may be eliminated by year's end. No, that has nothing to do with slop. Nadella is lying. Yes, slop has caused Microsoft billions in losses and additional debt, but it cannot perform the jobs of laid-off Microsoft staff.
Like VMware, all Microsoft can do now is raise prices and boil the frog to death. Sure, it's not going to work in the long term, VMware's "business [is] built on stolen code" (from Linux), and Microsoft's attempt to rebrand Windows as "Linux" and "open source" will fool nobody except corrupt, bribed "journalists".
At the end, Microsoft boils down to corruption, SLAPPs, bribes, censorship by extortion, and various criminal activities. Will this backfire? Only if we can report these things and inform officials/regulators accordingly (as we shall).

For over 20 years I've viewed "GNU/Linux vs Microsoft" as a fight against corruption. Microsoft represents the reprehensible and it's hardly surprising that it produces men who strangle women and tell women to kill themselves. It starts at the top with Bill Epsteingate. He and the serial strangler from Microsoft have both been arrested. They got out owning to connections etc. █
