Windows Measured Below 10% in Afghanistan, GNU/Linux Gaining a Lot
A new month began with statistics favourable to GNU/Linux (many sites write about Steam Survey, which focuses on "Gamers" who tolerate DRM, i.e. not the "typical" GNU/Linux users). Going through the list of nations alphabetically, we've noticed that in Afghanistan under the Taliban (now endorsed by the BRICS collective) there may me a move away from Apple and Microsoft - to the point where many laptops and desktops appear to be running GNU/Linux and, if Android is factored in, about 80% are Android (Linux) users, compared to only about 10% for Windows. █
