Slopwatch and Yet More Holes in 'Secure Boot' (as Usual!), Promoted Inside Linux by the Man We Are Suing
Today's Slopwatch will be short. Let's start with a very notorious slopfarm that for some reason Google News keeps promoting and has promoted for about half a year. This is a fake article with a slop image, as usual:
Another slopfarm, though this one isn't listed in Google News. The following are LLM slop.
That last one speaks of UEFI 'Secure Boot', but it is LLM slop, based on real articles. This one says: "Vulnerable DTResearch UEFI firmware applications can be used in BYOVD attacks to bypass Secure Boot."
Of course it was never meant for real security. It was a lie. It was meant to protect the Windows monopoly.
We're suing the person who was advancing this abomination into Linux [1, 2]. He will have tough questions to answer later this year in the UK High Court. He kept defaming people who turned down UEFI 'Secure Boot'. █
