In Recent Hours Google News Promoted at Least 3 Slopfarms That Relayed Linux Foundation Propaganda Made by Bots or LLM "Bullshit Generators" (as Dr. Stallman Dubbed Them)
So Google handed over, to proprietary software of Microsoft, a pile of code (whose licence can be violated).
Now it's Google's turn to promote a bunch of nonsense about it, quoting a Bill Gates fan, Jim Zemlin (Jim is married to a Microsofter).
The examples we found in recent hours are: (those are fake 'articles' from sites that are 100% slop; no doubt there are more)
The two slopfarms above are operated by the same person/s.
This is also a slopfarm:
There are also Linux Foundation-sponsored (bribed) publishers that did the same, but they're not the same as slopfarms. They're another kind of problem, e.g. Silicon Angle (SiliconANGLE) taking money from companies to publish SPAM for them, thinly disguised as "news". SiliconANGLE is one among many such platforms. They're "B2B" (spam), which Spamnil's TFiR (Swapnil Bhartiya) strives to emulate, helped by Zemlin (this is what they do).
Groteque? For sure. But that's just what's happening.
Google is circling down the drain and Google News too is hopeless - both send a lot of traffic to bottom-feeding slopfarms. They're gamed, maybe voluntarily, by rogue elements. █
