    Israeli society finds it difficult to accommodate those who do not follow suit. As it becomes more conservative, the spaces in which it is permissible to be "other" are eroded.       Well, I've not updated this for a while. I keep meaning to, but my executive function is woeful at best and it's all I can do to breathe in and out most of the time these days.

      The world being *waves hands everywhere* isn't helping either.

      Still, I've been trying to make the best of it. I've been going to a lot of metal gigs (plus Betty Boo. I love The Boo), which has been a lot of fun. We're off to Bloodstock in August. I'm old and everything hurts, but fuck it. That's how I've decided I'm going out.
