Not Much Better Than LLM Slop: Linux Foundation-Funded 'News' Site Writes Linux Foundation 'News', Composed by Linux Foundation Operative, Quoting Linux Foundation Staff
This is not a new problem, but people must recognise the "spades".
They even boast about how people buy "research" when in reality what they buy is puff pieces from SJVN (they show a screenshot of that!)
Notice their choice of pale grey (and very small, barely visible) fonts at the bottom:
"The Cloud Native Computing Foundation is a sponsor of The New Stack."
They mean they get paid (sponsored) to produce this spam. Then they call it "journalism".
Money buys 'the news'. This corrupts news online and moreover associates the "Linux" brand with mischief.
Notice SJVN in the screenshots: (he writes in several Linux Foundation (LF)-funded propaganda outlets; they get "assigned" LF puff pieces and get told how to cover affairs; he defames RMS in ZDNet and makes excuses for software patents because of OIN).
SPAMnil openly said that SJVN was his "mentor". We can see why. SJVN's personal site has had no new article since March. He's too busy doing LF spam. █
