New BetaNews Realises There's No Potential or Future in Slopfarms, Prior Editor Wayne Williams is Back
Things are happening behind the scenes at BetaNews. They don't tell us what's going on. We're left to pick up clues and guess based on rare statements, such as:
Who was Ashley Clarendon?
Another fake persona, like some of the slop 'authors'? Who knows....
What was the cryptic goodbye about? Why did they get rid of Fagioli (shitposter with clickbait)?
They don't say.
My intuition tells me they had financial issues, handed over to some shady company to experiment with the site (while losing a week's worth of posts/comments), now the company (or buyer) has remorse and wants some of the old staff to do sharecropping. They realise that slop (so-called "AI") cannot replace humans. It only degrades the "BetaNews" brand and humiliates former staff (shame by association). █
