    Got a secondhand digital piano, ostensibly for the kids.

    A week in and I've just moved it to my office so I can practice when they are asleep. Granted part of the problem of where it was is we don't have a proper stand for it or chair to sit on. Still don't have the proper furniture but it goes quite well on my standing desk and I don't mind standing to play. Someone who knows more will probably inform me that I am ruining my chances at concert level, though perhaps that ship has long ago sunk.

    I want to note that I found some Bog Star flowers next to my building at work (Fairbanks, AK) a.k.a. "Grass of Parnassus". These are not a rare flower, according to my book, but they are beautiful and I had not noticed this kind of flower before.
