Google: From Pointing to Relevant Sites to Pointing to Social Control Media to Actually Parroting Social Control Media as "Facts"
Over time Google is only increasing the amount of slop and making it harder to turn off. It's basically a giant bubble waiting too explode/implode and "AI Overviews [are] cutting publisher clickthrough rates by 50%, new report finds".

Social Control Media misinformation, according to this short report, is now being magnified and amplified by Google, which will in turn lead to more people (who use Google) to spreading such misinformation. We wrote about this yesterday and it's good to see more examples affirming there's a giant problem here.
Google has become a misinformation company. Google "AI Overview" is not intelligence but a parrot (a real parrot is in fact vastly smarter than this). It is being falsely marketed or sold as wisdom, sheltering trust that it does not deserve. █
