Nobody is "Replaced by AI", It's Just a Smokescreen for Jobs Being Eliminated by Lack of Money (Too Much Debt) and Offshoring
It's also why many make the jokes about the "I" in "AI" being "India" or "Indians"
So a few hours ago this turned up in the news:
Rebranded as "Meta" amid epic crises of unprecedented duration and scale (owing in part to whistleblowers), the company insisted that as its social control networks were waning it would become an industry leader in "metaverse".
Sounds familiar?
GitHub becoming "part of" this thing called "CoreAI" (led by Meta bro [1, 2])?
Meta this, meta that....
Just what they do now with "hey hi" (AI) and when the hype wears off they hop over to "quantum".
Meta's debt is going through the roof and the company's layoffs pace is accelerating. "Hey hi" hype won't save it, that can only waste its remaining (borrowed) money even faster.
Speaking of debt, IBM's debt was mentioned earlier today and shortly afterwards someone showed an ongoing trend, wherein salaries go down at IBM:
When they say "AI revolution" they mean something else entirely. The same thing happens at Microsoft and people are noticing, even the Vice President in the US. █
