In Many Places in the World Vista 11 "Market Share" is Going Down, Not Up
A fortnight ago: The More "Market Share" Microsoft Loses, The Higher the Shares Go
This trend is not so unusual this month:
Also earlier this month:
- In Many Countries People Move Away From Vista 11
- Microsoft Windows Fell to All-Time Lows in Egypt This Summer, Vista 11 Adoption Decreases While GNU/Linux Increases
- Latest Version of Windows (Vista 11) is a Failure 4 Years After Its Fake 'Leak'
Vista 11 is failing. It is failing very badly. People generally reject Vista 11. Businesses try to avoid it. What can Microsoft do other than issue threats or try to pull a 'UEFI 9/11' (see Part I and Part II)?
Well, for one thing it lies to shareholders. This month we're seeing many mass layoffs at Microsoft, with rumours of more to come next month (there are 5 comments discussing it). Microsoft tries to twist this as "efficiency drive" or "hey hi", but it's just a symptom of commercial failure.
Forgot about a "Vista 12" and all the lies told by Microsoft about Vista 10 being the "last". It won't change the fact that society is moving to Android and other operating systems. In some countries Windows is already down to third place or lower. █
