Complicating Things for No Actual Benefit, Just Added Risk and More Difficulties Adding GNU/Linux and BSDs
As we showed several times yesterday, GNU/Linux users are reporting "secure boot" issues. Now, a Windows site jokes that "makeover" is expiring old certificates and adding to your computing a risk of bad firmware updates (that break your SSDs or brick your PC), or leaving you unable to boot altogether if you do nothing:

Of course none of this has anything to do with security [1, 2]. Secure Boot bypasses are not just an urban legend and MOKs (Machine Owner Keys) solve no real issue. They cause issues. █
