Microsoft now makes Git dependent on Rust, or making Git dependent on GitHub, which is proprietary
Will the Real Linus Torvalds please wake/get up? Torvalds is losing control of his children.
So a Microsoft employee now boasts that they're making Git - not GitHub - dependent on Rust, which Microsoft controls in GitHub. We already saw the trouble this causes in Linux and very much foresaw it (LibreOffice is also targeted).
If that does not count as E.E.E., then we don't know what is.
Making matters worse, Microsoft now uses GitHub to bribe politicians and to pressure them to give money to proprietary prisons of Microsoft [1, 2]. "Microsoft loves Linux" like "Trump loves Kimmel". █
