Repeating the Lies to Promote a Ponzi Scheme is Not OK Because "Many Other Sites Do This" (Including Slopfarms)
We've just mentioned The Register MS (Situation Publishing) playing a big role in promoting a Ponzi scheme (its previous Editor in Chief admitted it was just a bubble), but just to be very clear, Situation Publishing is one of many, it is not alone. Other Microsoft- and IBM-funded boosters of the Ponzi scheme are high-profile 'news' sites that help IBM rally Wall Street, based on... nothing at all. Follow the money. They know they promote a scam; but they look to personally gain from it.
They already work on the next Ponzi scheme. Mr. Buzzwords is plugging or planting "Q": "If you have a long term relationship, say, with a bank, let's say, a bank like HSBC, that kinda writes a report about, let's say, Quantum Computing, that... let's say, puts IBM as a Quantum Computing leader, what would happen with the stoQ of that Qompany?"
"Oh, what a coincidence, look... Today, 09/26, IBM shares are up slightly after an analyst highlighted the company's position as a leader in Quantum Computing, spurred by HSBC's success using IBM quantum tools. Didn't know that Quantum was actually a thing that was working already. Surprise!"
So QC (quantum crap)... it'll always come next year or a few years from now... since 2000 or since the late 90s. Haven't people grown tired of the false promises? █
