Yesterday: GNU Project Turns 42

In social control media sites:

GNU has entered its 43^rd year. The FSF turns 40 in 6 days from now. We're only finding coverage with a positive... flattering tone in social control media (no omissions made above), not the typically dismissive and revisionist garbage.

Have the FSF and GNU earned the respect they deserve? Do more people realise the importance of "free"? (As in freedom)

Yesterday we saw some social control media comments saying that we should stop saying "Open Source" because what matters is freedom. Even The Register MS published something to the same effect. █
