This is a little too cryptic to keep abreast of, but it seems like proprietary software delivered by repositories that ought not be trusted (some are controlled by Microsoft and the NSA) did something naughty and unpredictable. In China, there's no room for such mistakes. Getting 'disappeared' may mean death. Revolutionary dissent is not tolerated.
