IDG Seems to Have Abandoned Sandra Henry Stocker's UNIX/Linux Column
Earlier this year or early in the summer "Unix as a Second Language" (by Sandra Henry Stocker) seems to have published its last post. Nothing has happened since June and prior to it they published LLM slop. It seemed like a desperate measure and an own goal.
Unless we hear otherwise or see some update/s, this may mark another death blow from IDG, which publishes lots of paid-for SPAM for Microsoft (mostly in PCWorld) instead of real articles. IDG changed ownership some years ago. It's now a Chinese company that controls IDC, i.e. pay-to-say services. They get paid to recommend stuff. It's marketing wrapped up as "expert advice". █
