IP Kat Gone Bonkers, Pushing Slop in Patents (Likely Illegal, With Severe Consequences)
AstraZenecaKat: "Last time, this Kat covered some practical steps on how to ensure client confidentiality when using AI tools (IPKat)." As if the real problem is privacy... the issue isn't "hallucinations" (falsehoods) either but the very act of using slop at any point in the process.
In the future we'll show lawyers and barrister using copypasta to put forth claims (that alone is a major scandal), but check out the above. Some attorneys openly boast about slop like it is something to be embraced in the legal profession. It should be banned universally. People should be fined, lose their licence, maybe even put in prison for it.
There is even slop imagery in this 'article'.
Check out the comment at the bottom:
That is not even the point. The point is, these people try to normalise something truly abhorrent, including software patents (which are nowadays fashionable to twist as "AI patents"). █
