All Things Open is Proprietary
Welcome to your "open" event, brought to 'you' by:
The SAS (proprietary) at the OSI blog boasts that "several OSI directors will also be present at All Things Open in Raleigh, NC, October 12-14, and welcome questions there."
Of course they are paid by Microsoft et al to advance the "HEY HI" Ponzi scheme. And it says "Nick Vidal" is "Open Source Initiative" even though his salary comes from Microsoft.
The OSI has become a front group of proprietary software openwashers, led and sponsored by proprietary giants. "All Things Open" (ATO) is the same.
This is what they sell to Microsoft et al, in their own words:
Influence merchants, but follow the money (same as Linux Foundation selling tweets and 'thank yous').
These are like corporate escorts.
Can't beat this slop:
What a sham the term "Open Source" has become. It has been entirely hijacked. █
