  • Firma Odin Is Transforming

    For some strange reason "Odin" rhymes with "Transforming" when I read that title... must be some sort of slight of mind :) Anyways!

    Since I last made an effort to work on my capsule – and I do not know how much time has passed since then – many things have changed within my spiritual work. I'm much more stable now, for once! But also very busy. So busy in fact that I still get anxious when my grandma who lives downstairs invites me to sit with her and grandpa for lunch. It's sort of.... "difficult" to snap out of work mode, and I don't leave my room often because of the just mentioned anxiety. Which sucks. I feel like my muscles are actually getting pretty weak sitting on my computer all day (In Bed) and basically not moving except to get food or tea. It's been genuinely one month that I've left the house and the only reason I remember that it's been One Month is because that's when my little brother was visiting and he drove us to the store one day so we could get energy drinks and snacks. Literally one month On The Day that I have left the house!!!! What is this life..... :o

    But I digress. Firma Odin requires my attention. That's the URL of my capsule and when I first added content to its pages I did so under the header of "Firma Odin". Apparently, that was a mistake, maybe it created some sort of feedback loop. How do I know it was a mistake? Unknown spirits were stealing my energy aka my life entered a Zone of Confusion. BUT NOW WE'RE BACK!!!

  • iPod

    This summer I brought back from the US, my iPod which I'd bought new in 2005 or so. Unfortunately when I plugged it in, it went weeEEEEEE *CLICK* weeEEEEEEE *CLICK* over and over again. I decided to replace the internal hard disk with an SD card, and that was an adventure in and of itself. The two issues I faced were:
    1.) Formatting
    2.) Syncing music

    I decided to go with 64Gb, which is better than the original 20Gb. I was not able to get macOS 15.x (Sequoia) or 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) or 9.x to recognize the device, but what finally did work was iTunes on Win10. Using it I could then format the iPod and sync music to it. This was both issues resolved for the time being, but I didn't want to use Windows.

      Is it you, dear reader? Is it one of the people following along on fedi? As soon as I posted that my setup had been working fine for weeks without requiring any intervention, I find that it’s in fact not working fine.
