Microsoft is Finally Giving Up on XBox, The Chief Says the Grapes Are Sour Anyway

So now the business chief comes out of the woodwork. He basically says that there is nothing to worry about. "Consoles" just... don't matter. Well, they do. Microsoft now targets PlayStation. Because sales of XBox have collapsed. Microsoft makes excuses for the XBox failing and gradually being removed from stores, even some the largest retailers [1, 2]. The executive level is talking about "movies" and social control media as if those are gaming platforms. They are not.
As one site put it today: "Following widespread layoffs during the summer, Microsoft and other businesses increased the pricing of their products. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate implemented an unusually high price rise of 50%, which goes above the typical inflationary price increase."

There's just too much debt. Microsoft loses hundreds of dollars on each XBox that it sells. That's how bad the XBox franchise became. █
