Yesterday we explained that one of the above "Sponsored Features" is problematic for several reasons: it promotes a Ponzi scheme, it promotes something that likely contains hostile back doors, and it 'marinates' the tech-centric British journalists (actually, many are nowadays American at The Register MS) in Putin-arming grease. There are many reasons why it's not just immoral but also a threat to national security.
This morning we showed this promotion of a Ponzi scheme persisted later in the same day and it is a part of a pattern we've long observed and written about for months already.
It should be noted that it is part of a concerning trend in the media in general; it chases the "hey hi hype" money and then participates in the promotion of a financial scam.
How do we break this cycle of disinformation? The money is sent to people who lie. The propaganda pays. █
