Thankfully We've Made Copies of More Interesting Data From statCounter

The analytics ("gs" subdomain) at statCounter have been broken for a long time with no indication of whether or not they'll ever help it 'come back'. Generally, based on simple observations, the statCounter 'webapp' (JavaScript) remains broken in all Web browsers. Is this the end of the 'webapp'? Probably not, but it has failed to keep up with data changes and the company made/issued only one press release in the past 8 years, so it is difficult to guess what its plans for the future are.

As statCounter is still entirely broken (the 'webapp' at least) nobody anywhere in the world can access data on usage. It is a good thing we made snapshots of it and copied some data as ODF. If statCounter (the Web site or the 'webapp') vanished overnight, we'd still have something left of it. █
