statCounter Says GNU/Linux Rose to 4% in the Russian Federation

In Russia, Yandex is dominant and Microsoft is nowhere near 1%. But on desktops and laptops, however, many Russians still use Windows (about two thirds on Vista 10). About 64% of Web hits come from desktops and laptops, not some Android phones.

More of them seem to be migrating to GNU/Linux this year.

Adoption of Vista 11 has been embarrassingly weak. █
