Rust Keeps Breaking Ubuntu in All Sorts of Extraordinary Ways (and All Distros Based on Ubuntu Will Break Also)

That Ubuntu is being sabotaged by "Rust People" (this is what they call themselves) is bad enough; 1.5 decades ago we saw people who now work directly for Microsoft doing the same to Ubuntu - and in parallel to Debian - with Mono (it eventually went astray).
Now the same people, working for Microsoft Canonical, plan to make Rust a hard dependency for Debian and therefore all its derivatives, which means that Microsoft GitHub (proprietary) 'infects' and in turn breaks most distros.
Totally absent right now is any statement by the FSF about "Rust People" - i.e. people who impose proprietary software for development - trying to replace GNU and also the GPL.
The FSF's stance on this is unclear. Maybe silence is the stance. █
