On IBM Layoffs in Mexico and More Vapourware ("The Only Thing That Keeps the Stock Price up.")
A short while ago:
IBM's stubborn lack of transparency on RAs (layoffs) leaves ample space for speculation.
Yesterday we wrote about IBM cuts in Mexico (as we had done for quite some time already) and hours ago we could see a "Financial Analyst Senior" from IBM in Mexico announcing a "last day" [1, 2]. Now, IBM is a very large company, so there is no guarantee this means RAs (although an atmosphere of RAs can - in its own right - contribute towards a seemingly voluntary decision to leave).
Will IBM ever honestly disclose its HR decisions and "actions" (RAs)?
If IBM cannot be upfront with its own staff, why would anyone among IBM's clients and shareholders have trust in promises about half a decade from now? The below was posted only hours ago. █
