Slopfarms Seem to be Slowing Down a Lot This Month
We do not have enough for a Slopwatch today. Nor did we have enough yesterday. Last week? More or less the same...
For one reason or another, Slopwatch may have outlived its usefulness, at least for "linux" or "bsd" related topics.
That is of course what we wanted all along - Slopwatch needs to die. We need to have no more slop to keep abreast of.
In Google News, "linux" or "bsd" search only yields one slopfarm right now. It is WebProNews:
Aside from that, we see nothing else out there. Many slopfarms, including Linux Journal are simply not active.
Outside of Google News we see the pseudonym in the slopfarm "LinuxSecurity" producing some more LLM slop:
The Serial Slopper, UbuntuPIT and all those other sloppers seem to have been inactive lately. Have they given up? █
