(Gallipoli) And yet I can enjoy cinema
I almost donāt watch any movies for years now. Recently, I expressed the thought that at a certain stage in life, movies simply cease to interest people. And on that very same day, I happened to watch a movie, Peter Weir's 1981 "Gallipoli". This film was recommended to me by one of the social media profiles I follow. Unfortunately, I don't remember which one. I would like to thank that person, even though they remain anonymous. The film was very good, and it reminded me that cinema can be something valuable and that a film can interest me and make me reflect.

Time Travel in "The Tomorrow War"
I like this movie. As other time travel movies it has plot holes (doesn't all of them except for Army of the 12 Monkeys?), but I believe I can explain them. It does require one small leap from the plot: that the people in the movie don't actually know how time travel works.
It's explained early on in the film that they can bridge two points in time, but that these points are like "rafts flowing along the same river": as one moves forward in time so does the other. They point out that the bridge is unstable and janky; that they would still be sending rodents if it wasn't an emergency.

'Official' Tinylog Subscription List
As it seems, bacardi55 doesn't work reliably on his Gemini projects anymore and I already forked his GTL (Gemini Tinylog Viewer/Editor), because there were open patches propsed over 7 month ago without being merged. I decided to also inherit the 'official' Tinylog list again, because I have doubts that bacardi55 maintains it really.
