We Really Didn't Want to 'Bash' the Media
As a very ardent proponent of free press and a strong advocate of independent media (as in, media not reliant on those whom it needs to criticise, investigate, scrutinise etc.), I really didn't want to end up sounding "sour" about what's left of the media. This morning I wrote "Techrights Does Not Wish to Blast the Media" and in a few hours' time we'll show how truly awful German press has become. We recently focused more on Spain [1, 2] and the only coverage we can see today in Spanish is from this blog and maybe it is an automated translation, maybe not.
This speaks of protests or strikes that can happen soon.
