When It Comes to "Buy Nothing Day", TV Stations Have Shown Who Their True Masters Are
As Wikipedia puts it:
About an hour ago we said that a lot of the "mainstream" media (sometimes known as "MSM") is covering up for or distracting from corruption by the "elite interests" and for large, wealthy corporations, such as the companies that the EPO grants the lion's share of patents to (de facto monopolies inside Europe), even if those companies aren't European and aren't beneficial to Europe; some are actively destructive and hostile towards it.
Today it'll be "Buy Nothing Day", depending on where you live. Remember whose side "the media" (or "MSM") has taken. Remember who pays this media (e.g. for ads) and who controls this media, either in full or partially.
Unlike such media, we don't depend on ads, we depend on courageous people with privileged information. That's why companies that control the "MSM" hate us so much.
Moments ago I informally told an associate that "we are _very well organised_ [...] BUT drowning in good material".
"That's a good sign," this associate replied, "as people / sites without a good reputation will not be able to acquire so much. I presume a lot is supplied by whistleblowers etc."
As a reminder, we plan to spend the coming years explaining - and campaigning against - SLAPPs. There's no law against explaining SLAPPs. Trying to use more SLAPPs to prevent journalism about SLAPPs is a shot in one's own foot. It cannot possibly improve anything, it can only exacerbate matters. █
