Slop ("AI") Will Replace People and Take Away Jobs, Say the Slopfarms With Fake (LLM-Generated) Text and Slop Images
Slop promotes slop. Catholics promote Catholicism. Muslims promote Islam.
On the Web, we keep seeing endless (automated churn) 'articles' about how "AI" (whatever they mean by that) is dooming humans or jobs or whatever. They keep saying the same lies over and over again. Algorithms don't get bored or tired. Just plug into a power source:
Many "woke" (or awake) people rightly point out none of this has happened; what we instead witness is rotting companies with plenty of debt and fake business (like circular financing, basically buying from oneself) announcing lots of layoffs and then telling the "press" (read: slopfarms or fake news sites like The Register MS, paid to promote "AI") those layoffs are just a matter of "modernisation" - an effort to "Pivot to AI".
The net effect here is mistrust and a big loser will be media or sites that play along with this phony narrative. As noted earlier, "AI" often means slave labour in a poor country. █
