With Half of December Over, FSF Two-Thirds of the Way Towards Funding Goal
Still raising money and still seems increasingly likely to get there.
The Free Software Foundation (FSF) turned 40 this year. It had adopted a bird motif for this important anniversary and despite efforts to 'scandalise' it (by defaming key members) the FSF managed to keep its composure, keep all the important staff, and even re-add Oliva (the free-as-in-freedom Linux guy) to its Board.
If you can share some money this month, the FSF should be a priority. The EFF works for GAFAM (it also gets funded by GAFAM), Wikipedia works for Microsoft and for Bill Epsteingate (follow the money; they openly admit this!), and all sorts of other pseudo-NGOs aren't what they seem. The thing which calls itself "FSFE" (an impersonation) is working for billionaires, including Epsteingate's Microsoft. It tries to emulate the Linux Foundation, which openly promotes fraud. █
