Some months ago someone told me she had been invited to study "AI" skills. I told her it was a scam meant to shoulder some hype needs. It wasn't actually AI, it was likely some "slop-prompting" diploma mill.

IBM is nowadays part of this problem. Having failed at voice recognition (erroneously and misleadingly spun as "intelligence"), the company now chases another gimmick and it got some slopfarms in India to promote slop under the guise of "SkillsBuild".

What skills does that give? Making more slopfarms? █
