This past October we began covering EPO Cocainegate. When the EPO imported António Campinos from Alicante it also imported many of the friends or colleagues of Campinos. They imported illegal drugs with them. And no, it's not just one person, one "culprit" or a single "rotten apple". It's a cultural issue and now the EPO is actively covering up what would seem like merely a "theory" if there wasn't hard evidence of the hard drugs.
"De nada hombre," ("you're welcome, sir") said one reader, "special thanks to you for the excellent journalistic work."
I replied with: "Lots more on the way ;)"
We're trying to publish at strategic times when the culprits can be held accountable, e.g. by European politicians.
"About the EPO," said the reader, "did you reach the material about the Cocainegate to Mediapart? I saw recently that they had written an article about the EUIPO."
I sometimes speak to them about EUIPO (part of the EU and the place where the drugs/drug problem came to the EPO from). I am also told, explicitly, by mainstream and established media, that Campinos and his mates at the EUIPO habitually SLAPP the media, as they did me several time. They're also aware of Cocainegate, they're just too afraid (timid) to cover it.
"I remember some low-level managers were called "line managers"," I was told. "I now realise why!"
Yes, lines... cocaine. Following the Line of Cocaine All the Way to the Top...
The next installment (number 16) will probably come out this weekend. Some people come back to work on Monday. █
