The More Buzzwords a Corporation Resorts To...
In recent hours:
"IBM is running out of money to acquire companies and out of employees to RA, so the momentum is unsustainable."
Regarding IBM's stock, IBM will try to "prop it up on some pretext (AI, Quantum, Cloud, Security...)"
IBM is trying to paint Red Hat and Fedora as "AI" (slop) [1, 2]. Everyone knows it's undesirable, but IBM staff want to keep the job and last week we learned that a longtime Fedora user dumped it over the whole "AI" nonsense.
So IBM is sacrificing Fedora for Wall Street decoy/con.
The dumber IBM becomes (layoffs and brain drain*), the more buzzwords it will resort to. Because buzzwords are a fool's way to compensate for or disguise a lack of knowledge. █

IBM systematically pushes out or fires older people not because they are slow or dumb or lazy. It's because they are "expensive" (salary expectations based on skills and experience).
