Having asked for a second person's opinion on this, I'd argue or posit or assert that EPO management (Team Campinos) will try to make distractions right now or "bribe the staff", to quote this second person's opinion.
This was brought up because the Local Staff Committee The Hague says "the President has now authorized this recruitment" of a "second in-house nurse in The Hague" while he puts his cocaine-using right-hand man on fake "sick leave" [1, 2] to merely hide Cocainegate. He pays over 100,000 euros to a close friend as a reward for getting busted with cocaine (and he needn't do any work, either).
For a little bit of context, less than a day ago the Local Staff Committee The Hague circulated this message among colleagues:
Recruitment process for a second in-house nurse in The Hague is nearly complete
Dear members, dear colleagues,
The Staff Committees have long underlined the essential role of in-house nurses in providing timely, reliable support for colleagues facing work-related health issues. Despite assurances during the 2022 reform that two in-house nursing positions would remain in The Hague, only one nurse was ultimately appointed, while the second post was transferred to Munich. Frequent changes among external Occupational Health (OH) staff, including the departure of several external nurses and the rotation of external OH physicians, have further strained continuity of care and significantly increased the nurse's workload.
The Local Staff Committee The Hague (LSCTH) has consistently advocated for the reinstatement of a second in-house nurse to ensure stable, high-quality support for colleagues. We are therefore pleased to report that the President has now authorized this recruitment, and the process is close to completion. The new nurse is expected to take up duty in February 2026.
Building on this positive development, the LSCTH will continue to advocate for the appointment of an in-house OH physician to further strengthen Occupational Health services in The Hague.

A second in-house nurse for The HagueThe recruitment process for a second in-house nurse
in The Hague is nearly completeDear colleagues,
During the discussions on the reform of internal health services held in 2022, Staff Representation repeatedly emphasized the vital role that suitably qualified nurses play in supporting colleagues with work-related health issues. Their ability to route cases efficiently and provide direct assistance makes a real difference to staff wellbeing.
At that time, the administration assured us that two in-house nurse positions would be maintained in The Hague and emphasised the importance of continuity of care within Occupational Health (OH) services1, a view fully shared by Staff Representation2.
Consequently, our first in-house nurse, Noeleen Johnstone, was recruited as an occupational health expert with a broader professional profile and fewer administrative tasks compared with previous arrangements. However, the second health expert position was ultimately transferred to Munich.
Since then, the Local Staff Committee The Hague (LSCTH) has consistently advocated for the reinstatement of a second in-house occupational health expert in The Hague3. Meanwhile, external OH staffing has seen frequent changes: in early 2025, only one external nurse remained under the MasterArbo contract, and MasterArbo also provided an interim occupational health physician Dr Gulnur Baran, following the retirement of Dr Detlev Schüder.

A tender to define external OH services for the next three years was expected to conclude by the end of 2025. During the first half of 2025, the external nurse role was assumed by Pepijn Steenbergen.
These repeated changes contradict the commitments made during the 2022 health reform. As a consequence, Noeleen Johnstone’s workload has increased significantly, raising concerns both for her wellbeing and for the continuity and quality of support available to colleagues in need.
For these reasons, the LSCTH has continued to advocate for the recruitment of a second in-house occupational nurse3. Today, we are pleased to report that the President has given the green light for this recruitment in The Hague, and that the procedure is now nearing completion4 . According to our understanding, the new nurse is expected to start working in February 2026. Building on this success, the LSCTH will continue to advocate for the appointment of an in-house OH physician.
Kind regards,
Your Local Staff Committee The Hague_____

Why the sudden change or 'generosity'? Call me "Crazy", but a second person agrees with me that it helps distract from the EPO's scandals and lessen empathy for those impacted by those scandals, especially now that industrial actions are being planned. As we'll show next month, the EPO's corrupt officials absolutely destroyed the health of staff, not just by bullying. Actual cocaine addicts caused nervous breakdowns among sober people. █
