Partition 36 Lives?
So I sometimes play the game osu!. Not often, and I suck at it... but just on and off. I see it as an evolution of how I used to play DDR religiously. Seriously, I would play it 3-4 times per week, 30-60 minutes at a time, always playing on Hard and without breaks between songs. Songs like Healing Vision Angelic Mix, So Deep, Matsuri, Sakura... Also without holding onto a bar since that's how I learned (and because I was at home and just had a soft pad mounted onto plywood, heh). Not the best, but far from being "bad" at the game, at least at the time for the style I played. Anyway, I can't play it anymore due to bad knees and fibromyalgia. So I instead started playing osu! to make up for it. And Stepmania occasionally using a keyboard and just one hand.

Crochet 1 for 2026
I'm planning to try to record my completed crochet projects here this year. This first one is a Preston Cowl (a free pattern from the Lion Brand website), made with Mandala Sparkle yarn in Cepheus.
I made one to give as a Christmas present, and I saw there was enough yarn left in the skein to make another, so that was what I worked up in the week after Christmas. I find the Mandala Sparkle yarns to be irresistable, so I think eventually I'll have made something with all of them!

Joe Scotto's Latest Hand-Wired Keyboard Takes a Boomerang — or Batarang — As Inspiration
Free-to-build keyboard maker Joe Scotto is back with another design, this time with a boomerang — or possibly Batarang — inspired curved design: the ScottoRang.
"The ScottoRang is a 34-key split monoblock ergonomic 16×16mm Choc spaced keyboard with a central 128×64 OLED display," Scotto says of his latest keyboard design. "I used Choc Pro Red switches along with my custom ScottoCaps (Scooped) in 16×16mm spacing. The OLED display shows the current active layer and I have plans to one day do something more interesting like animations."

Outage 🚧
My capsule was unavailable for a while. I guess I should expect that sometimes when I rely on someone else to run the box. It's generally pretty solid, so no complaints.
I'm also recovering from my health outage. I tried working from home today, and it wiped me out. Too much concentration required. While I've been off work my project hasn't been completed by a colleague. Damn!
