Claim That the Board of Directors at IBM Isn't Happy With How the Company is Run
The forever layoffs [1, 2] this week (no resumption):
Some hours ago we saw seemingly credible (certainly confident) claim that the Board of Directors at IBM (including the CEO) lost trust in people who manage IBM and asserted greater control over decision-making. Here are some key bits illuminated for emphasis:
Yesterday we mentioned eavesdropping on IBM workers. Shortly after we published this somebody commented: "Confirming badging in/out times are tracked and reported to managers along with the employee's IP address. So the company knows the amount of time you are onsite and using the company wifi."
IBM tries to project an image of strength to the whole world, especially to its clients. In reality, however, the company is struggling and trying hard to hide it while paying the press to control the press and silencing workers (it even misuses NDAs to silence people it sacks). █
